Consistently good quality courses

This was my third course with Culinary Guru, I've done the Tandoori Cooking at Home and the Indian Street Food Course previously. This time I went for the South Indian Breakfast Masterclass. Just like my past experiences, the instructors were knowledgeable, and the recipes were authentic. They're reliable; I always get instant access to the course, and the quality of the videos is consistently good. That's why I keep coming back. No surprises, just solid instruction every time.

I took the Healthy Breakfast Recipes course. It was pre-recorded and easy to follow. The recipes were simple and tasty. Access was immediate. Good experience.

Solid course, minor tech glitch

I enrolled in the Basic to Advanced Baking course. Overall, it was a positive experience. The content was comprehensive, and the instructor explained things well. I appreciated that the course materials are accessible for a long time. My only minor issue was with one of the video players buffering a bit during the initial setup, but it resolved itself after a refresh. Delivery of the course access was instant, which was great. For the price, it felt like a fair investment in my baking skills.

Good value for a first-timer

I was looking for an affordable way to learn some new cooking skills and found Culinary Guru. I bought the Biryani and Pulao Special course during a seasonal promotion. The discount, which I think was around 30% off, made it feel like a really good deal. The lessons were thorough and I picked up some great techniques. It felt like I got a lot of bang for my buck, especially for my first time trying an online cooking class. Definitely worth the purchase.

How long do you get access to the course materials after buying? Is it forever or just for a few months?

N Nathan Wright 2 weeks ago
It's lifetime access! Once you buy it, it's yours. Pretty sweet deal.

Yeah, for real. I bought the healthy breakfast one like six months ago and can still go back and watch everything. No time limits that I've seen.

Anyone know if they actually give a certificate? Like, is it a real thing you can put on a resume or just a participation thing?

O Olivia Harris 4 weeks ago
They do give a certificate! I got one for the Cloud Kitchen course. Not like a college degree, but it's a nice recognition.

It's a completion certificate. Good for showing you've learned something specific. I wouldn't expect it to land you a job at a Michelin star restaurant by itself, but it's legit for what it is.

I'm in Chicago. What's the deal with payment? Like, can I pay with a regular US credit card or is it all Indian payment methods?

D Danielle L. 4 weeks ago
Yeah, totally. I paid with my regular Visa from here in Florida. No issues at all.

They take standard international cards, don't worry. I used PayPal for my first course, I think, and then my credit card for a bundle. It's set up for global payments.

Are there ever sales on these? Like, I'm eyeing the tandoori cooking and the street food courses, but I don't wanna pay full price if a discount is coming.

K Kevin A. 1 month ago
Oh for sure! They have sales during festivals like Diwali or Christmas. Also, keep an eye out for bundle deals, those are usually good for multiple courses.

Yeah, they do. I got my baking course during a summer vacation promo, it was like 30% off. And if you buy more than one, there's usually a bundle discount automatically.

I'm a total beginner. Do they provide ingredient lists beforehand so I can get everything ready? Or do you just find out during the class?

D Danielle Martin 1 week ago
Yup, they provide ingredient lists. Usually, it's in a PDF or a section before the video starts for each recipe.

J James Carter 1 week ago
Yes, absolutely. For my tandoori course, all the ingredients and equipment lists were available to download as soon as I accessed the module. You'll have plenty of time to shop.
